SRQ Youth

Encountering the unconditional love of God through meaningful relationships, games and the truth of God’s Word. Our prayer is that each student will commit to a life-long relationship with Jesus Christ.

Student Ministries are intentionally designed to meet students at many levels. Some events are designed for students who just want to have fun (Hey, that’s fine. We want to build relationships with them, so we can point them towards Christ!), while other events are designed to help students experience God and learn to follow Him more fully each day. If you want to learn more about Christ and have fun with friends, this is the place.

  • Wednesday Small Group

Each Wednesday night from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Gym, we start with a dinner collectively as a church and break after dinner into various Bible study groups. The youth move to the Loft to play games and pray together before traveling back to the gym to finish with more fun activities. This night is designed to give students a break from the school week and have fellowship together.

  • Sunday Morning

At9:30 am, we meet for Bible study in The Loft. During this time, we study the Word of God and discuss the application of the text to our lives.

On Sunday mornings at 10:30 am, we join the whole congregation for Worship service in the sanctuary.

  • Sunday Youth Group

    Sunday Nights

All Youth meet every Sunday from 5:00 – 7:00 pm in the gym for Bible study, games, fellowship, snacks, and a lesson. This time is great not only for students to grow closer to God but also closer to each other.

  • Special Ministry Events

Student ministry events are special events outside of our regularly scheduled get togethers. These events range from deep God filled retreats to fun fellowship opportunities.

    Examples are:
    D-Now: Weekend Retreat
Lock-in: An all-nighter, filled with games, food and fellowship
Broomball: Hockey with a twist at Ellenton Ice
Winter Retreats: Boy/Girl retreats teaching the significance of each gender biblically
