What is Promiseland?

Promiseland is committed to caring, teaching, encouraging, and loving children in a safe, fun environment.

Promiseland provides a rewarding program in a Christian setting to all children regardless of race, creed or national origin. Promiseland desires to see your child grow independently, make thoughtful decisions and choices, develop self control, develop language skills, large and small motor skills, love of learning, and self confidence.

Play is an integral part of learning at Promiseland. Through play a child learns to make decisions while developing skills in many areas including creative art, language, math, science, nature, music, blocks, building materials, dramatic play and more.

A Promise Land Day

A typical day in the life of a Promiseland child includes a variety of fun and learning within a planned schedule.

Center Time. This time allows the children to play and use their imagination while developing necessary social and decision making skills, independence and self-confidence. They choose from blocks and building materials, math, science, art, dramatic play, music and language centers.

Circle Time. The children sing songs, have a Bible lesson, read stories, have show and share, and play quiet games.

Snack Time. The children learn to serve one another and develop math skills while enjoying a snack that has been provided by one of the children.

Outdoor Time. The children enjoy the playground equipment, sand box, water table, bike riding, ball playing and other things that help develop their large muscles.

Group Activity. The children make crafts or do art projects that include painting, cutting, gluing, coloring, cooking and more.

Chapel: Chapel is held every week in the sanctuary.
