A Promise Land Day

A typical day in the life of a Promiseland child includes a variety of fun and learning within a planned schedule.

•   Center Time. This time allows the children to play and use their imagination while developing necessary social and decision making skills, independence and self-confidence. They choose from blocks and building materials, math, science, art, dramatic play, music and language centers.

•   Circle Time. The children sing songs, have a Bible lesson, read stories, have show and share, and play quiet games.

•   Snack Time. The children learn to serve one another and develop math skills while enjoying a snack that has been provided by one of the children.

•   Outdoor Time. The children enjoy the playground equipment, sand box, water table, bike riding, ball playing and other things that help develop their large muscles.

•   Group Activity. The children make crafts or do art projects that include painting, cutting, gluing, coloring, cooking and more
